IPS e.max CAD is an innovative lithium disilicate glass-ceramic for fabrication in-house utilizing authorized chairside CAD/CAM systems. This unrivalled material combines highly esthetic qualities with exceptional user-friendliness. Unlike other CAD/CAM materials, IPS e.max CAD covers a comprehensive spectrum of indications. A wide range of translucency levels, shades and block sizes offer greater flexibility for challenging clinical situations. Tried-and-tested cementation materials have been specifically designed to complement IPS e.max CAD to provide long lasting and durable restorations.

IPS e.max CAD blocks can be milled in the Ivoclar Vivadent PrograMill One, the CEREC System (Sirona) and Planmeca FIT System (E4D Technologies).

e.max milling partner

Our in house mill went down and while we were deciding on a new investment strategy, we have been using alien milling for our e.max crowns and veneers. They are consistent and timely and affordable. Great all around!

very confusing when ordering- add this add that- in my opinion just add the fee and put it all together. This will help office get the right crown back. We have ordered this a couple of times and it came back purple not finished. Then when I called its because we didn't choose it online. The offices know that this crown will cost more- but what we don't know is adding this and that we just want a beautiful emax crown

Nailed it

6 anterior e.max crowns following my wax-up. Tried them in and showed the patient, who said, "Damn that's good." She was on the fence about doing the lower arch, but she scheduled before she left that day.

  • CAN YOU FABRICATE A 4 UNIT BRIDGE WITH EMAX LT

    This is from Ivoclar 

    Thin veneers, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns,
    crowns, anterior bridges, multiple-unit bridges, 3-unit-bridge
    (up to the second premolar as the terminal abutment),
    hybrid abutments, abutment crowns.

  • How do you want me to submit for a maryland bridge in emax?

    Each wing will count as a "unit" 
    So If you are submitting a pontic with 2 wings, you would update the qty of the case to 3 units. 

  • What machine is this milled on? How many axis and what size tools?
