New & Improved Sintering Schedules
We rebuilt our Sintering Schedule page from the ground up — and while we were in there, we tightened up several of the programs themselves. Here's what's new.
Pick Your Material, Not Your Oven
The old page asked you to find your oven brand first, then dig through unit-count tables to find your program. The new page flips that around: choose your zirconia material, and every applicable program — Crown and Bridges, Full Arches, and Fast Sintering — shows up instantly with a visual temperature-vs-time chart and a full step-by-step table.
Faster Where It Counts
Several of our core programs got shorter without cutting any corners on the ceramic — the savings came from tightening hold times and ramp segments that had extra margin built in. Here's the before-and-after:
Total run times, old programs vs. the redesigned ones. Full Arches saw the biggest cut — nearly 3 hours off.
What Else Changed
- Material-first navigation — pick Alien HT / ML / Extreme or Alien ML2 / STARDUST, no oven lookup required.
- Visual charts — every program shows a color-coded temperature curve: red for ramp up, green for hold, blue for ramp down. Hover (or tap, on mobile) any point for the exact step details.
- Full Arches, redesigned — shorter hold times without changing peak temperatures, saving nearly 3 hours on a full arch case.
- Fast Sintering, unified — one consistent fast-fire program now applies across all supported materials.
- New Multi-Layer 2.0 data — ML2 now runs its own dedicated Crown & Bridges and Full Arches programs.
